Land and Lot Clearing in the South Metro and Foothills

Clearing the docket.

Overgrown lots, scrub oak, brush, and dead trees cleared for building, fencing, access, defensible space, or just getting your land back. Free written estimates from an ISA Certified Arborist.

Land and lot clearing Get your land back.

Land clearing is tree work at a bigger scale. Saw and Order clears overgrown lots, fence lines, driveways, and building sites across the south metro, Douglas County, and the foothills, from a backyard full of brush to acreage thick with scrub oak and dead pine.

Because an arborist runs the job, clearing doesn't mean knocking everything down. Connor walks the land with you first, the trees worth keeping get marked and protected, and the brush, dead wood, and crowded or unwanted trees come out.

Debris can be hauled away, or mulched on site when that makes more sense for the ground and your budget. Stumps get ground out where you need a clean surface, and cut low where natural ground is fine.

  • Free site walk and a written, fixed price
  • The trees you want to keep, marked and protected
  • Brush and wood hauled away or mulched on site
  • Stump grinding where you need a clean surface

Clearing Services What we clear.

From one overgrown corner to a whole lot.

  • Overgrown lots

Brush, volunteer trees, and years of growth cleared so you can see and use the whole property again.

  • Scrub oak and brush

Gambel oak thickets and dense brush thinned or removed, a common job across Douglas County and the foothills.

  • Building sites

Trees and brush cleared from footprints, access lanes, and staging areas before construction starts.

  • Fence and property lines

Brush and trees cleared along the line so a new fence can go in or an old one can be fixed.

  • Driveways and access

Overhanging limbs and crowding trees cleared so trucks, trailers, and fire engines can get through.

  • Defensible space

Ladder fuels, dead trees, and crowded stands cleared around the home, following Colorado State Forest Service guidance.

Debris Options Mulch it or haul it.

  • Haul it away

Brush, logs, and stumps loaded on trailers and taken off site. The cleanest finish for yards, building sites, and anywhere you want bare ground.

  • Mulch it on site

Brush and small trees ground into mulch and spread where they stood. Often faster and more affordable on larger lots, and the mulch helps hold soil in place.

  • Keep the wood

Want firewood? Logs can be cut into rounds and stacked wherever you like.

How Land Clearing Works How it works.

  1. Walk the land

Connor walks the property with you, marks the trees you want to keep, and looks at access, slope, and where the debris can go.

  2. A written price

One fixed price for the job, based on the size of the area, how dense it is, and whether debris is hauled or mulched.

  3. Clear

Brush and unwanted trees are cut and cleared with saws and heavy equipment like skid steers and mini excavators, and forestry mulchers where they fit.

  4. Stumps

Ground out where you need a clean surface for building or planting, or cut low on natural ground.

  5. Clean finish

Debris hauled or mulched as agreed, and the site walked together before we leave.

Pricing What clearing costs.

Every clearing job is different, so it's priced by the job after a free site walk. These are what move the price:

  • How big the area is
  • How dense the brush and trees are
  • Tree sizes and how much dead wood there is
  • Slope and equipment access
  • Hauling debris away or mulching it on site
  • Stump grinding

Questions & Answers Cross-examination.

How much does land clearing cost?

It depends on the size of the area, how dense it is, access, and whether debris is hauled or mulched. Every job gets a free site walk and a written, fixed price, and financing is available for larger jobs.

Can you keep some of the trees?

Yes. We walk the land together first and mark the trees you want to keep, and the work goes around them.

Do you haul everything away?

If you want. Brush and wood can be hauled off, or mulched and spread on site, which is often faster and less expensive on larger lots.

Do you remove stumps?

Yes. Stumps are ground out where you need a clean surface, like building sites, lawns, and driveways, and cut low on natural ground where grinding isn't needed.

Do I need a permit to clear land?

Rules vary by county, town, and HOA, especially for grading or work near creeks. Check with them before a big project, and we'll point out anything we notice during the site walk.

Is land clearing the same as wildfire mitigation?

They overlap. Defensible space work thins and clears around the home to slow a fire, while land clearing can take out much more. We can plan either one, or both.

How soon can you start?

Most jobs can be scheduled within a few days of the estimate. Bigger clearing projects are scheduled around the size of the job.

How do I pay?

Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, cash, check, or ACH bank transfer. Credit and debit cards are accepted too; credit card payments include a processing fee. Payment is due when the work is done or when your invoice arrives, unless we've agreed on something different, and financing is available through our lending partners.
